Info for the participants of FDSL-9 (Göttingen, December, 7-9 2011)
Just after GLiP-7, the 9th European Conference on Formal Description of Slavic Languages (FDSL-9) will take place at the University of Göttingen. The proximity of the two conferences is meant as a convenience for those who wish to attend both events.
Transportation options between Wrocław and Göttingen
LOT and Lufthansa fly between Frankfurt and Wrocław three times daily. There is one flight between Düsseldorf and Wrocław per day operated by Lufthansa. Wizz Air (a low cost airline) flies from Dortmund to Wroclaw on Tuesdays and Saturdays. See www.lot.com, www.lufthansa.com, and www.wizzair.com for details.

Conference Venue
The conference will take place at the Institute of English, Kuźnicza Street no. 22 (see the MAP).

Travel Information
Wrocław airport is located 10 km west of the city centre and is served by LOT (flights from Warsaw, Frankfurt, Munich, and Gdansk), Lufthansa (Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, and Munich), SAS (Copenhagen), Ryanair (Alicante, Barcelona Girona, Bologna, Bristol, Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Dusseldorf Weeze, East Midlands, Glasgow Prestwick, Liverpool, London Stansted, Malaga, Oslo Rygge, Rome Ciampino, and Shannon), and Wizzair (Cork, Doncaster Sheffield, Dortmund, Dublin, Eindhoven, Forli, London Luton, Milan Bergamo, Oslo Torp, and Paris Beauvais).
There is a bus (No. 406) that goes every 20 minutes to the Main Railway Station. The last bus to the station departs at 23:09; see the bus schedule. A single ticket costs 2,40 PLN, but if you have luggage with you, you need an extra ticket for 1,20 PLN. You can also take a taxi, which will cost around 50-60 PLN.

The bus station is next to the railway station. See the schedules of international buses going to Wrocław.
Getting to the conference venue
Take tram no. 8 from the Railway Station in the direction of Zawalna or tram no. 17 in the direction of Sępolno and get off at Hala Targowa, which is the 3rd stop.
Coming from the airport, take bus no. 406 and get off at the 14th stop Renoma. From there take tram no. 6 in the direction of Kowale or no. 7 in the direction of Marino and get off at the 4th stop Uniwersytecka. Note that you need to validate a new ticket whenever you transfer from one line to another.
